Garden
After 2 1/2 hours of hard work managed to claim some of the garden back - lovely to be out in the sun today. My theory of putting down bark chips to stop the weeds has failed miserably!! Now trying more paving stones that I bought to do mosaics on but haven't. back sore now but happy to get it done!!

Orangutan
My companion in the car! I had a stall for the Australian Orangutan Project at the Gisborne market and had to take everything back to Brighton on the Monday. The big girl just fitted in the front passenger seat - we got a few strange looks on our way to the city. I was really happy with the market we took $620 which was good for June and a cold showery day. We sold 3 adoptions which was great.

Tupai the Chowchow
My second quilt!! I printed photos on to fabric and cut then into hexagons - one row with photos one row plain, kind of a potted history of my Dad's life. I really enjoyed this and am planning another hexagon quilt but with stitchery this time. dad was really happy with this - it was meant to be a lap quilt but is now up on the wall - too good to use!!
Orang utan day
Me in Elizabeth Street Melbourne, really way way way out of my comfort zone. Lush were promoting their Palm Oil free soap and my job was to spruke on the street and get people to put their hand in paint and then their palm print on the window. Great in theory! People on Elizabeth Street are going somewhere and do not appreciate interruptions I found out! Not to worry we did get some palm prints and Lush gave a lot of money to the Australian Orangutan Project from the soap they sold. Yaaay for the Orangutans!
Coat hanger success!!
