Back again...(photo heavy..catch up time)

Here we are back home!! Well we have been here for a week, the day after we got back Jenny and I went to Gisborne to catch up with the Gisborne girls...we went out for dinner and had a great evening
Pauline, Donna and myself..

Chloe, yours truly, Tracee and Marg...

Marg, me and Pauline

Jenny, me and Tania....notice how I managed to get in every photo!!! Lol!!

after dinner we went to Donna's house for a sewing session....we had a wonderful evening and it was so good to catch up with everyone,
Donna showed us the ripple blanket she had finished...

Jenny had finished this knitted and crochet blanket and I had done a crochet border...

had a quick hug with Pretzel..he wasn't that keen!! lol!!

Jenny and I stayed overnight with Marg and the next day we wandered home via Geelong...Friday I came down with some kind of bug that was nasty so was in bed for a couple of days and a bit slow getting much done for the next few, but am much better now.
Today Jenny and I have been out with the St Leonards sewing girls...we went on the ferry from Queenscliffe to Sorrento....
we made it up the hill to the pub for a refreshing drink...

and down the hill to an Italian restaurant for lunch...
Oops a bit our of sequence....getting ready to go onto the boat...
then we had to head home....it was a great day...of course having two beers at lunch time makes you mellow!!! Lol!!
Last week I had a birthday and just wanted to share a couple of the lovely things I was given..
Marg made me this wonderful bionic bag....I love it...how cute is that little pin cushion???
I am sorry this is sideways, but this is a Novel journal...the lines inside are the actual words from the novel...a very clever idea...this (amongst other things) from the lovely Tracee
and some beautiful batik fabric from Donna. thank you my lovely friends, Tania also gave me a wonderful bag of goodies..
I think enough for now if I haven't put you to sleep...I shall go and organise some dinner and then get on with the shirt challenge quilt that was supposed to be finished ages ago.....unveiling is this Saturday...better get a move on!!
Happy sewing.
